The centre has been established in collaboration with Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, Region Västra Götaland and Astra Zeneca. As a clinical researcher within the community of WCMTM you will have a great potential to develop as a leading independent scientist in a strong academic environment at the University of Gothenburg, the Sahlgrenska University Hospital, and AstraZeneca Gothenburg. Together with the other Wallenberg Centres for Molecular Medicine in Lund, Linköping and Umeå, and with SciLifeLab in Solna/Uppsala, WCMTM Gothenburg has established the National Molecular Medicine Fellows Program (NMMP). The NMMP provides yearly meetings, and good network and collaboration opportunities for the close to 100 new group leaders recruited to the five nodes.
